حروف الجر

أولا - حروف الجر للزمان :

أمثلة الاستخدام	حرف الجر
8 o'clock - 10.30 - midnight – night - the weekend – christmas – the end of	at
Sunday(s) – 25 April – New year's day – Monday Morning - Tuesday afternoon	on
April – 1985 – summer – the morning – in five Minutes – few days	in

- I start work at 8 o'clock .

- Where will you be at Christmas ?

- Are you busy at the moment ?

- I don't work on Sundays .

- The concert is on 22 November .

- Are you doing anything on Saturday evening ?

- The garden is lovely in spring .

- Do you often go out in the evening ?

ملحوظة هامة : لا نستخدم حروف الجر المذكورة قبل : this – last – next – every

- Are you going out this evening ?

- The garden was lovely last summer .

- I'm going on holiday next Monday .

ثانيا – حروف الجر للمكان :

- Where's Kate ? She's in bed / the kitchen .

- Angela works in a shop / a bank / a factory .

- I live in a town / a small street .

- Did you come here in your car / in a taxi ?

- There is a big tree in the middle of the garden .

- There's somebody at the bus stop / the door .

- The car is waiting at the traffic lights .

- Julia is working at her desk .

- My house is at the end of the street .

- Helen is studying law at university .

- There weren't many people at the party.

- There are some books on the shelf and some pictures on the wall .

- There is a stamp on the envelope .

- Who is that man on the motor-bike ?

- Did you come here on the bus ?

- The office is on the first floor .

- I met Ann on the way to work / on the way home .

** لاحظ ما يلي :

* من الممكن غالبا أن نستخدم in أو at للمباني .

- We stayed in / at a nice hotel .

* arrive in ......... ( a country / a town ).

* arrive at ..... other places ( the station – work ) .

- They arrived in England last week .

- What time did you arrive at the hotel ?

* home :

- go / come / walk home . ( without to ).

* لاحظ أننا لا نستخدم حرف الجر to مع home لكي نقول : إلي البيت .

- I'm tired . I'm going home .

- Did you walk home ?

* be / stay / do something at home .

- I'm staying at home this evening .

* لاحظ أننا نستخدم حرف الجر at مع home لكي نقول : في البيت .

* get home / arrive home

- I was tired when I got home .

- I was tired when I arrived home .

* لاحظ أننا لا نستخدم حرف جر مع home عندما نريد أن نقول : يصل إلي البيت .
